The SG Special VOS re-creates what was the economy model of the original early '60s SGs. It featured the same slim double-cutaway body as the SG standard, and came equipped with P-90 and a wraparound bridge. Like all VOS (Vintage Original Spec) series instruments, the SG Special VOS is handcrafted for comfort and playability in the Gibson Custom Shop. The construction, neck profile, hardware, and electronics are period accurate, and a special nitro-cellulose finish treatment gives it the patina of a gently-aged vintage guitar. Includes Gibson Custom Shop case, a certificate of authenticity, and custom care kit.

Features reverse headstock, vintage tremolo, 3 custom '50s pickups (bridge set at reverse angle). Available in chartreuse sparkle only. Includes brown Tolex case with gold poodle plush lining, strap, and cable.

The Standard Strat HSS guitar features special switching for its humbucking bridge pickup and two single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions. Other features include an alder body, modern C-shaped maple neck, chrome hardware and vintage-style synchronized tremolo.
