Alder Body
Dean uses an alder body for this axe. Alder is a common choice for electrics, and generally offers an even-keeled tone. In combination with the active EMG pickups, you’ll get a versatile, high-output tone, suited for most any player–pedal types, metal types, or those who just want a gritty blues tone.
Bolt-On Construction
The DC6F uses bolt-on construction, an affordable alternative to set-neck or thru-body designs. The advantage of this design is that if you do have any neck trouble down the line, you can easily replace it.
The maple neck features an ultra-playable 24-fret ebony fingerboard, with Dean’s wicked-looking “Deceiver” inlays.
EMG Active Pickups
The DC6F offers serious tone with its pair of active EMG humbuckers. In the bridge position is a high-output 81. Utilizing powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, the 81 delivers incredible amounts of high end cut and fluid sustain, so your leads can cut through the densest mix.
In the neck position the Elite features an 85-7. It’s a slightly more well-rounded version of the aggressive 81. With close aperture coils loaded with Alnico V magnets, the 85 offers plenty of versatility, with a muscular growl and smooth lead tones, perfect for the muddiest of blues to the most extreme metal.
On the electronics front this axe keeps it simple, with a three-way toggle between pickups and a single volume knob.
Grover Tuners
If you play guitar then you know what this means–solid, dependable tuning from the industry standard. These guitar machines are a triumph in engineering and style, with a gear ratio of 14:1, perfect gear meshing, and zero backlash and slippage. The gear box has a special lubricant for lifetime, trouble-free service.
Original Floyd Rose Tremolo System
The patented and often imitated double-locking design of the Floyd Rose Tremolo System allows you to lock your guitar in tune at the nut and at the bridge. Engineered like no other tremolo system, the Floyd’s high-quality steel parts are manufactured to exacting specifications. Beat it up as much as you want–from traditional vibrato to dive bombing leads or flapping loose strings, and stay in tune while you do it.

The Dean From Hell CFH is a straight-up replica of the Dean guitar Dimebag Darrell played with Pantera. Dime It
The late great Dimebag Darrell is a serious metal guitar hero, and Dean’s series of Dimebag models pays homage. Dimebag started playing Dean ML style guitars in the late ’70s, and made it one of the most recognizable shapes today. Dean offers a wide variety of Dimebag MLs to choose from, all boasting Dimebag’s distinctive look and tons of mojo and attitude.
Mahogany Body
Dean uses a mahogany body for this beast (as with many of its guitars). Mahogany is a common choice for electrics, dependably delivering a warm, full tone with plenty of punch and sustain. And of course there’s that lightning-themed finish, sure to help coax a little electricity from your fingers on the fretboard.
Set Neck Construction
The CFH features a set mahogany neck, which imparts all the well-known advantages of that style: a warmer overall tone with extended low-end response, wicked sustain, and easy upper-fret access. The 24-3/4-inch scale neck features a rosewood fingerboard with classic dot inlays.
Bill Lawrence L500XL Bridge Pickup
Dimebag made no secret of his love for this particular humbucker, relying on it for a crystal-clear, harmonic-drenched tone–very shred-friendly, but equally suited for rhythm work.
A Dean humbucker completes the package up in the neck position, each pickup getting its own volume conrol, along with a shared tone and three-way toggle.

Beat it up as much as you want–from traditional vibrato to dive bombing leads or flapping loose strings, and stay in tune while you do it.
DBD Traction Knobs
Dimebag always rocked his “traction knobs,” which he created by taking a soldering iron to them, for knobs that are grippable no matter how much sweat’s pouring off you on stage. Yet another aspect of the orginal Dean From Hell that Dean faithfully recreates here.
