I have been teaching college classes in popular guitar since 1994. I constantly buy guitar methods looking for different approaches that might make me a better teacher. I am really impressed with this book. I do feel that much of it looks better on PC than Kindle. (make sure to look at the previous review from the author and get the PC version too.) He demonstrates new concepts with short, playable excerpts from popular songs. That’s not unusual, but this book does it better than most. The excerpts are well chosen, interesting, and apply to the concept he’s teaching.
The book also teaches music theory concepts and fretboard knowledge. This helps the student understand music better and makes it easier to understand more advanced concepts later on. I notice that when Joe introduces exercises or exercise type licks, he does it in bite size chunks. You get great licks and exercises, but not so many that it bogs you down. Many teachers get so caught up with scales and exercises that they forget about playing guitar in the real world. Everything I have read so far is applicable to real world playing. This book will not bog you down in endless scales and exercises, but you will learn a lot!
The author offers support and updates to registered purchasers through his website. I highly recommend this book. It’s well thought out and understandable. My only disappointment with this book is that I didn’t write it. Great job Joe.

I suggest I just study through the whole write-up of yours and it was pretty fine but considering that I’m additional of a visual learner,I identified that to become a lot more beneficial well enable me know how it turns out.
