The top, bottom and two sides of a DC 4×12 are all cut from a single sheet of virtually void-free Baltic Birch plywood, recognized for its rich, “woody” tone. Cutting the cabinet from a single sheet of Birch enhances the overall resonance because each piece has similar structural and density patterns. Accordingly, the pieces resonate together, creating stronger fundamental tones and harmonics. DC cabinets are loaded with four 12-inch Celestion™ Vintage 30 speakers, a favorite of professional players around the world for their fat, full-bodied tone, great definition and unreal sustain.
